imperial molecular bioengineering

do i still have a chance if i have a biology personal statement?
I've applied for this course with a Biochem PS, I'm wondering the same thing.

I'm really hope it works out, I actually really like this course, definitely my second pref after Biochem at Oxford.

Do you mind if I ask why you didn’t just also apply to biochemistry at imperial?

I’m thinking of applying with a chemistry personal statement. Have you heard anything from imperial?

Not at all lol, I actually applied for biochemistry as well (applied for two courses at Imperial). My other options are Oxford-Biochem, UCL Biochem and Edinburgh Biochem. I didn't know what to put as my 5th choice and Molecular Bioengineering just seemed so cool, so I went for it. The spot was going to be empty either way so I just went for it.

Thank you, I’m considering applying to imperial for biochemistry as well so I was wondering if you were choosing not to apply to it because it had a bad reputation or something. But thank you for confirming that it isn’t a red flag haha.

I haven't heard back yet, but neither has anyone from my school. Most people haven't really submitted their UCAS yet, and I've heard that Imperial takes quite a while. Best of luck for your application!
