UCL PPE Applicants Thread
Just wanted to create a thread so that we can all share the grades we have applied with, and when we get offers!
I'm applying with A*AA in Maths, Economics and Politics with mitigating circumstances. The other places I applied to are Oxford PPE, UCL PPE, Manchester Econ and Politics and Nottingham Econ and Politics.

Sorry, I meant KCL Political Economy in place of UCL PPE!

I applied with A*A*A*A (maths, econ art and further maths respectively). Applied to UCL Oxford LSE Warwick and KCL all for PPE. Got kings and not oxford, havent heard back from the rest.

Nah, Nothing from UCL. Heard back from Exeter though for Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Maybe in a few days, after equal consideration?

My son hasn't heard back either, he applied 11th Oct! He's only heard from 2 of his 5 so far. Waiting for UCL, LSE and Warwick

Just wanted to keep the discussion going, I'm still waiting for UCL. I was rejected from LSE 2 weeks ago, and was rejected pre interview from Oxford. I have got offers from Sussex and Sheffield.

Congrats on your offer for Sussex and Sheffield 🙂 My son is also still waiting for UCL, LSE and Warwick! PPE for UCL & Warwick and Pol & Econ for LSE, he applied 11th Oct so over 6 months ago!!! Hopefully you'll all get good news before Easter. Can I ask what your stats are please?

Yes, for PPE at LSE
I am predicted 3 A*s and had mostly 9s and 8s in GCSE (one 7). I have a friend who was rejected due to a 6 in Maths if that's any help

Thank you, Great stats! He's predicted A*A*A* (A* in EPQ but not taken into account for UCL/LSE/KCL & Warwick) GCSEs 99988887776 (8 in Maths) so if he is rejected it could well be due to his GCSEs! Guess we'll be finding out soon. Thanks again, best of luck with UCL

I think if it's not a 6 in English or Maths it should be unlikely he is rejected

He got an 8 in English Lit and in Language. There is such a demand for anything Economics related, Pure Econ, PPE, PE etc and a huge amount of applicants, I think the last stats I read were around 6% get offered? He initially had LSE as his no1 but he's now thinking UCL? Fingers crossed he gets an offer for UCL! Thank you for your help and best of luck for your future
