Best route into Veterinary Nursing??

Hiya, I'm doing A-Levels right now in Psychology, Business and Media. However, I'm interested in pursuing Vet Nursing as a Career, or a related field maybe. What's the best route getting into Vet Nursing with these A Levels.
Would I have to do a diploma in Animal Management after I complete my A Levels? or would it be possible for me to go straight into it through an Apprenticeship?
Thanks.

I've heard that you can find veterinary nursing diplomas/apprenticeships instead of taking the classic university route! Universities do require a biology A level, so if you did want to go down that route you might have to either change one of your subjects or retake. I've heard that apprenticeships/diplomas are highly competitive but it saves the debt problem with uni!

Vet nursing is a hard career path to get into. Most places like you to have a experience in a vet practice before pursuing with a degree. Apprenticeship is hard to get into if your not employed by a vets practice already. The best thing to do is an access to higher education in animal science or veterinary science to get on to a bsc vet nursing degree or look for a foundation fdsc degree where you don't need the biology qualification to get into.
