I'm worried I dropped the wrong subject?

I've just started year 12 and I picked Maths, History Media and Physics.
I definitely didn't want to drop Maths or History but I wasn't sure between Media and Physics so I started with 4 with the plan to drop one eventually.
It's been a few weeks and I quite enjoy Media and don't really like Physics.
I know Physics will look better at university but I haven't really been enjoying it so I ended up dropping it but I'm not sure it was the right thing to do.
I did talk to the school careers advisor and they said it was fine if I dropped Physics and wouldn't affect anything much.
I have no idea what I'd want to do in University, probably something like with Film Studies, Maths or maybe History.
I do think I would happily swap with further maths but I'd have to drop History which I dont want to do.
I don't know if I made the right choice and wanted to see what other people think.
Without any idea of the sort of degree subject etc that you might be aiming at, its impossible to advise you.

Thanks for replying, sorry that it's difficult to advise on.
If I did any degree I would want to do Film Studies, Maths or History.
Maths I may need Further Maths but like I said I'd have to drop History. I don't need physics for any I might want to do but I think it will look better. The careers adviser said that dropping physics wouldn't be an issue, which is why I dropped it, but I'm just worried it was a mistake.
Again, thanks so much for replying.

You can do a Maths degree without FMaths but it restricts your choice of uni - maybe check any you might want to apply for?

Why would you need to drop History if you took FMaths? Are you at a state school in England btw?

Yeah, I'm in England in a state school, and the subjects clash, so I can't do both. Thanks for the the advise

You could ask your school to access tuition in Further Maths through AMSP for you? [That's why I asked about your school] It's not expensive and would open doors

That sounds great! Thanks for the idea, I'll definitely ask about that!
