Job advice

I'm currently studying A level politics, law and history. I have no idea what job I want to pursue . I would ideally like to make around £50,000 a year. Any suggestions?

So you think you are going to get paid £50k in your first graduate job do you?

Do you want to earn at least 50K eventually? I'm sure you know no job pays 50K immediately after graduating.
Here are some options:

Lawyer: First complete an undergraduate, then specialise into e.g. corporate law (highly paid), family law, tax attorney

Teaching: In history, law, politics, etc. At first, this isn't highly paid, however if you become department head/work in a private school/become a headteacher, it definitely is

Land surveyor: This is a quite niche job, but still important and highly paid

Government: Politician (Member of Parliament in the UK) is definitely highly paid. But like all of these jobs, there are huge responsibilities

Entrepreneur: If you have a lucrative business idea, this would be a good plan, just not for now?

Hopefully this helps!

Not really, I don't mind starting with a low salary I was just hoping to find a career where I could eventually make 50k after a few years

Thank you, I have been considering going down the law route but was worried about the exam cost of the SQE. I think I will look into teaching
