What is the student life like here, as in night life, societies, the city in general?
Hello🤗,
As a current student, I'm excited to tell you about student life at Leicester,

We have over 200 societies Covering a wide range of interests; from academic📚 to cultural, sports⚽ to hobbies, whether you're into debating, photography 📸 , Gaming 🎮, Mahjong 🀄or Basketball🏀 there's a society for you. Societies also host a range of activities to engage their members. you can Find a Society at the university Student Union website.

In the terms of Nightlife the City does offer a variety of Bars, clubs and pubs catering to different tastes. The City centre really comes to life at night; the student Union also Organises regular events and themed Nights which are held in the O2 academy on Campus.

The city is a multicultural city Known for its food scene🎂 and rich history, you'll find great Shopping🛍 at the high cross shopping centre and lots of green spaces 🌲, one being Victoria park which is right next to the Campus.

Overall Leicester offers a balanced student experience with lots of opportunity to grow both academically and socially.
its large enough that there's lots going on, but not so huge that its overwhelming.

I will recommend experiencing the City and Campus for yourself by booking on to an open day; Book here and you can also get a Discounted Coach travel ticket which you can Claim here.

Hello if you had to do an interview to enter your course what was it like?

Hello:hi:,
The University of Leicester typically doesn't interview applicants for most courses. However, some courses do require interviews, including: Medicine, Education and some Healthcare courses such as midwifery, nursing, Operation Department Practice, pharmacy, and physiotherapy.
Sadly my course isn't one of these that required an interview however if you want to find out more on the Medicine mini interviews you can attend our virtual talk
"An Introduction to Medical School MMIs"

on the 13th of November 2024, 6 - 7.30pm

there you can find out more about multiple mini interviews which is the most common interview style for medical schools as well as Discover how to approach them and hear from current students with their top tips!

you can sign up to this talk Here
