SAMEE! It's quite difficult.. Last year I was on Grades: U,D,B and then mocks last year I got an A.
I'd say, do lots of practice questions, a LOTTT of maths (e.g. moles) calculations
To get quicker with it (if thats what you struggle with) id say start with basic mole calculations and then maybe move onto some titration questions. You could do 20 mins a day/every other day of doing a mix of questions (maybe three MCQs, two two markers, a three marker, a four marker, and then the long answer questions to get used to the exam style). [tbh im saying this to u but i need to do it myself haha]. Flashcards are a good idea for concepts and equations that arent in the formula booklet. Some advice from my teacher --> You could also do a type of flashcard for example: Write out a mind map about what you can remember about alkanes. And then write lots of things on the back of the card for suggested answers and see how many you wrote down and find weak spots.
I hope this helped and I dont mind giving you more advice if needed! 🙂 I saw that this was unanswered and decided to reply as I am doing the same A Level chem exam board. <3
