In recent years, QMUL made offers to 4 out of 5 Psychology applicants (source), so as long as you meet the GCSE and A level requirements, then you have a decent chance of an offer.

As long as you met the GCSE requirements, you should be fine. Admissions won't think less of your application because you didn't get 9s. They will focus on your personal statement. Even your predicted/AS wont necessarily mean they'll look past ur application.
I did Access to HE so QMUL literally had nothing to go off except my personal statement and vague comments from my tutor who would've known me for 1-4 months.

It's also how they assign offers. They will give more offers for places than they can actually run, because they know a lot will not get the required grades. So they can afford to offer places to people whose personal statement they like but might not meet requirements after exams.
