choosing oxford college for law?

what is the best college for law at oxford? i've currently selected balliol as this is where the law department is. but i dont know about the characteristics of the colleges really. I'm also from a state-school if that makes a difference as I heard some colleges have a higher intake of state-school students than others. would really appreciate any help

The Law Faculty is not based at Balliol or at any other college. The Faculty is based at the St Cross Building, near St Catherine's College.

There is no way to determine which college is "best" for law, whatever that means.
Every college at Oxford which teaches law is good for law.

St. John's College, Wadham College, New College, Hertford College and Worcester College are all full of a high number of state school pupils and provide accommodation for all 3 or 4 years of your course.
