I do think the obsession is a little over the top. Sex is good but not like some kind of epithany where the world makes sense and triumphant music plays.

Because sex is a primal instinct? Because it's surrounded by many interesting things like feelings, emotions and reputation and therefore can be talked about for ages? Because if you think it's "just a penis going into a vagina" then you've either had some pretty bad sex or none at all?
