Morning
I'm a big situation finically. I was put on study break on April 2023. Before that I had some issues with my safe because my money didn't come on time, and I was facing problems at home regarding my mom, dad and uncle. It distracted me and took me to a dark place during does times, so I was going back home back and forth and I wasn't able to attend my classes properly. I had all this problem all together so I was stuck somewhere I don't want to be again. It still effecting me but not as much as I started again I want able to join because I need to pay a fee from last year but I don't have that money. Also I need to finish paying my accommodation money which I don't have, neither does my family so im in this big dept and taking the life away from me. I wanted to ask for help from the SFE if there's any way I can get more financial help to pay all this dept on me because I couldn't get my see on time last year. I really need the help, I don't know what to do no more. I can't add more problems. to my mother please.

Is for both because after I got put in break in study I couldn't receive my fee, so I went in dept. And now I can't access my application, because I have to apply for this year and next but it doesn't allow me, code numbers appear and I can't do anything about it, so I'm stuck. And I'm in dept with no way out at the moment. But I was told I could come to you guys.

Im able to access the account but when I press on my application for 2024/2025 the code numbers appear instead. So I can’t really reaply and if I can’t I don’t if I can recieve the money I neeed to help with my dept

Hi there. Just to clarify, are you saying that the University is asking for outstanding fee payments from the previous Academic Year? Is this application showing as suspended on your account? Thanks, David

Yeah. Cause I was in school for the first semester but then I went on break study which meant I have to pay 50%. And is not showed as suspended, I just pressed to apply but got code numbers instead. Also there’s the accommodation dept which I have to pay because I didn’t recieved the sfe after break of studies.

Okay will do that, but I wanted to also ask is there any way I can get help to pay my accommodation dept since I can ask for help from SFE please

We generally wouldn't be able to make any further maintenance payments to assist with accommodation costs once you have suspended.

Hi mery05,

We generally can't make any payments once you have suspended but if you have suspended for health reasons we can award 60 days' funding from the point of suspension.
