pls help - GAP

tbh i am enjoying being in a college course
but the curriculum manager told me yesterday that she thinks it is best if instead i join the GAP course
tbh i dont feel comfortable with this i will miss most of the coursework in the course and my teacher might think in the corse i do atm
will think im trying to leave even though i dont want to
and the reaction of family members make me feel if i do GAP i will look bad for doing that

I wouldn't, then. Why did your curriculum manager tell you this?

she told other students in my class as well idk if it is for the college to get money or something
but she told me she thinks it will be for the best to be in smaller groups and gain confidence
i'd rather continue with my course i have started atm
she says she wont force me but i dont believe it
