Does Uni of Manchester hold interviews for physics now?

I was applying for UoM astro (F3F5) through UCAS and then, just under UoM, I got an alert that there may be an assessment and I may be required to sit for an interview or provide a piece of work like a portfolio or an essay. Thing is, I didn't really see this in the UoM site's course and application pages. Can someone at UoM please fill me in on this?

UCAS has gone a bit weird with UOM, they also said their was an assesment for CS at Manchester even though there's nothing mentioned about such on UOMs actual website.
