i failed first year and had to withdrawn out of the course and come back

hello i failed first year had to withdrawn and come back ,am in 2nd year now but that first year still affects me now , am in my first placement for second year and now have failed my midway ,am hoping i pass the final because am honestly tired for real its just placement and not course work,i always pass my course work but always have issue with placement i need advice and what to do

Best thing you need to do regarding your placements is talk with your university course leaders and also placement officer as they are there for you for any questions etc you need to discuss with them.


You have to make sure you start passing your placements or you'll find yourself once again being asked to withdraw from the nursing course.

At the end of the day you have to pass everything you do plus complete all of your placements hours and university studying hours ( 4600 hours over the 3 years) for NMC to give you your nursing pin 📌

It's hard work but at the end of the three years it's worth it when you are a qualified nurse.

Whatever you've failed at midway for, you should have an action plan in place saying what to do/achieve to pass. If you do what the action plan says... you'll be fine.
