Eligible for continued DSA support after PhD thesis submission?

Hello,

I am currently an enrolled PhD student at Royal Holloway, University of London who is on a DSA award due to expire this Sunday (13th October 2024). This is because my PhD submission date is this Sunday - however, I submitted my thesis two months earlier, on 13th August.

My university is not sure whether I am eligible for continued DSA support beyond 13th October and has asked me to check this with you. Although I have submitted my PhD thesis, I remain a fully-enrolled student as I still have to have a spoken 'viva' examination at the end of November, and will then most likely have a set of corrections to do to my PhD thesis (the period for this set of corrections could be a further 9 months of study, starting after the end of November viva date).

On our Student Dashboard system, my current end date has been revised to 13th February 2025 (says our Disability & Neurodiversity office). My university can confirm all this to you via email if any DSA support can be offered. I am particularly keen to continue receiving specialist mental health mentoring support, if any support can continue to be provided.

Please could you advise whether all DSA arrangements end with thesis submission for PhD students, or whether extra support can be provided until I cease to be a fully-enrolled student at the university?

Thanks for any advice you can offer. If you need any further info or explanations, I'm happy to provide this.
