Seeking Guidance (Aiming for UCL and KCL Pharmacy )

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out for any help or advice. I’m studying A-level Chemistry and Biology in one year as a private candidate, and I’m aiming for top grades to apply for Pharmacy at UCL and KCL. However, I’m struggling with how to strengthen my UCAS application, especially since I came last year and have my GCSEs from abroad. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and afraid of being rejected, and I’m really determined to get into UCL.

If anyone has any advice, resources, or knows any helpful tips that can support a private candidate, please don’t hesitate to share . I’m particularly concerned about how to handle it and the best way to present my qualifications from overseas. I’m working hard to prepare, but I could really use some guidance to make sure I stand out and meet all the requirements. And I will need the IELTS (a test for foreign students)exam managing time is a challenge.

Thank you in advance for any support!
I recommend checking out the most popular YouTube channels dedicated to IELTS, as they provide excellent information and resources. Additionally, take the time to review the IELTS exam's marking criteria to fully understand what is expected of you. This way, you won't just be studying English in general, but will focus specifically on the skills and strategies required to succeed in the exam

Heyy thank you for your recommendation! I’ve been exploring several resources like IELTS Advantage and Fast Track, so I’m not too concerned about that. My main worry right now is preparing for the UCAS application and the personal statement that’s where I’m feeling most anxious:frown:((
