Oxford colleges for ucas application

Hi guys, so I'm handing in my application in the next week and still unsure what college to apply to, I've wanted to go Brasenose College but I'm unsure if being Northern, state-school educated and BAME will hinder my chances as it's so oversubscribed. I was also considering Hertford, Pembroke but does anyone have any other suggestions?

For extra info I got 9999988777 for GCSE, predicted 3A stars at A-level (acheived these grades in my Y12 end of year exams)

I'm an applicant for this time round. I'm no expert but will just say what my teacher has told me and what Oxford say...
You have no better or worse chance applying to one College than another. Your application is considered for Oxford University and your preference college will decide if you are and then if they think you are Oxford material, but they aren't gonna continue your application further themselves, they'll just send your application over...

Hertford College, Oxford would be an 'ideal' choice of college!!! 🙂

I wonder which subject you're applying for? 😧

Being Northern, state school educated, and a member of an ethnic minority will not hinder your chances of obtaining an offer of a place at Oxford. Approximately 70% of Oxford undergraduates went to State schools, and over 26% are members of ethnic minorities. You will find people from the North of the UK in every college.

Hello, are you a fan of Hertford now? Are you no longer crushing on St John's or Wadham? Are you planning to have a crush on every Oxford college in turn (and still apply to none of them)?

OP, please pay no heed to thegeek888. He's either a troll or a harmless dreamer.

I suggest that you apply to whichever college you like the look of. If you receive an offer from that college, great. If you receive an offer from another college, (as approx one in four successful applicants do), also great. If you don't receive an offer, at least you tried, and there are many other good universities. Good luck with your application.

A family friend studied PPE at Hertford College, Oxford but he was privately educated and got A*A*AA in Maths, History, Economics, and Politics.

However, I am still setting my 'heart' on St. John's College, Oxford, or Wadham College, Oxford (if I have to re-apply God forbid). 😉 lol

Did you miss me? I was gone for a few weeks... but I am back now. 🙂 I see you are also 'addicted' to TSR.
