Work experience

I'm in year 12, and we have been told to apply for work experience. I'm planning on doing radiography in the future, and my other options would be being pediatrician and/or physiotherapist.
It would be very helpful if anyone knows where I can do work experience at a place suitable for these routes (e.g. a hospital).

You need two things when applying for a healthcare degree - shadowing experience in a relevant hospital department and public-facing work/volunteering experience. Shadowing experience will show unis that you understand what the job involves. You only need a day of this and most hospitals will be willing to offer this rather than a week or so of work experience.

Your public-facing work/volunteering experience doesn't have to be care related, but it needs to show that you are competent at interacting with the general public. Consider part-time jobs or volunteering in care homes, schools, charity shops, restaurants/cafes, retail, etc. For your week of work experience for year 12, see if you can help in a primary school or local care home or special needs school.
