University Choices - auto/mech eng

Hey everyone, I’m applying to uni this year and had everything ready to go until one of my options (Nottingham) increased their grade requirements. I’m trying to do either automotive or mech eng and want to go to lboro for auto but want a safe but good mech eng option with around about the same requirements (AAB) just in case I don’t get in.
Any other options?
Currently have:
Leeds (Auto)
Lboro (Auto)
Surrey (Mech)
Brookes (Motorsport)

I’ve looked at places like Birmingham but I don’t know if their course really appeals to me. Any other options would be great!
Best of luck with your applications! 🤩

Bear in mind that you don't have to submit all five choices now. You could apply to four and then add another by the January deadline. If you have received some offers by January, you will be able to make a more informed decision about what your fifth choice should be.

Hi there,
One other University you might want to consider is Coventry University as it has an excellent automotive engineering and mechanical engineering course that gives you access to world class facilities and a large team of academic with industry experience. I am currently studying motorsport engineering here and absolutely love it. I believe the course has similar requirements to Oxford Brookes as well so applying should be reasonably similar.

That is a link to the course page incase you want anymore information.
I hope your application goes well.
