Compelling Personal Reasons (CPR) - Help

I will try and keep this short. When I attended university, I was undiagnosed with EUPD or Bipolar. Since then, I have been and believe my mental health conditions didn’t give me the mental capacity at the time to complete uni.

Fast forward 6 or so years, I have decided to return back to uni. I have matured a lot, my medication is under control and I am feeling better.

I want to write to student finance to try and get two years back (one from 2010/2011 and one from 2017/2018) due to my mental health issues.

So far, I have got evidence from my mental health team, support from specialist, doctor and requested medical records, been signed off from DWP for having a disability now.I have also contacted the university and asked for a letter.

Is there anything else that I need to do? I THINK that I may be able to get funding back. I don’t want to to get too confident and then be disappointed (please also correct me if I’m wrong) but I want to ensure that I do get the help I deserve and let me know if I am missing something.

Hey! Sorry on the late response. So I have submitted all my evidence for special support loan, DSA and compelling personal reasons. I am just awaiting for the doctor to list my conditions and how they impact my life and that’s going to be uploaded. I think it’s gonna be 50/50 on whether they give it me or not. They say I will find out within 12 working days. So fingers crossed! Wil keep you posted on here
