My chances at university

Hi,

I am applying for International Relations at:

- LSE
- KCL
- UCL
- Edinburgh
- SOAS

(Entry requirements for LSE, KCL, UCL: AAA - Entry requirements for SOAS: AAB - Entry requirements for Edinburgh: A*AA)

My AS results were AAB (Literature, History Math respectively)

My predicted grades are A*AA and an A* in EPQ (however I’m trying my best to get better test scores in Math so I get another A* predicted)

My IGCSEs are 2A* 6A

My personal statement largely covers where my interest from IR has stemmed, what I have read and researched on my own, my experiences etc.

Do I have a chance at getting accepted at either LSE or KCL since they are my top 2 choices?

Obviously London is competitive, but if you meet the entry requirements and have a good PS, then you should be fine (although nobody can say for certain).

My son was predicted 3As. He applied for War Studies and History at KCL, IR and History at LSE. He got offers from both. He firmed up the offer from KCL because he has been eyeing the course for several years. He's now in his first year at KCL having got an A* and 2 As.
We do the same alevels and we have the same As results in the same order that’s so cool, we’re also applying to 2/5 of the same unis !!!
