How much does percentage uniform mark matter for Cambridge?
Hey guys, I am applying for BSc Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I am doing the Cambridge International AS & A Level curriculum and my AS level grades are:
- Physics (a) - 88 percentage uniform mark
- Chemistry (a) - 93 percentage uniform mark
- Mathematics (a) - 94 percentage uniform mark
- Further Mathematics (a) - percentage uniform mark
My predicted grades are:
- Physics - A*
- Chemistry - A*
- Mathematics - A*
- Further Mathematics - A*
- English Language (AS Level Only) - a
My worry is, since in the MyCambridge application they require you to enter your percentage uniform mark, my physics grade would hurt me a bit. Does it matter much since I got predicted A*s anyways? Plus, are my chances still good if I perform well on the ESAT and interviews? Please help me as I am a little worried. I was under the assumption only grades mattered.
