Sure I can give you some general insight into what happened, I obviously can't give actual questions/scenarios out though! I applied for the vascular specialism so there may be a different set up if you applied for a different specialism.
I had a panel of 3 people, 2 from the interviewing trust and 1 from the national school of healthcare science (who was about 10 mins late!) they asked me to show ID, pan my camera around the room and also share my screen via teams to show I wasn't following any notes or programmes which I wasn't expecting.
The general themes surrounded calibration & statistical tests, research methods, vv, differences in arterial and venous structures. The last section was almost situational so I would say it's more about how you respond to the situations rather than prepping for it I guess but try not to let this stress you out, I found the questions to be quite leading!
Another tip is to keep an eye on the time because they will cut you off. You will probably benefit from using the full 4 minutes but if you go off on an incorrect string of thought they won't correct you either so be mindful 🙂. There's also a good 10 minutes or so at the end to ask questions!
I hope that is helpful and good luck everyone!

General NHS interview advice- if they have given you a certain amount of time then aim to speak to it. If they have said 4 minutes and you speak for 2 you are incredibly unlikely to have hit all the points in the mark scheme.

Hi I got an email a while back saying I'd been longlisted for the interviews, does anyone know if there'll be more updates regarding it for longlisted people or will they only be contacting successful applicants?

Hi, not asking for the specific question of course but when you say calibration do you mean questions on the general concept or specific calibration methods for specific equipment?

I'd say it is very close to asking for the specific questions. People sharing questions give later candidates an unfair advantage over earlier ones.

Ahh that’s nice at least you found out about it early. Mine was the top as well surely they must take that into consideration when deciding the interviews.

They don't. Mine is 12th choice.

Longlisted or shortlisted? Longlisted candidates were further given ranks based on their application to then be shortlisted for interview. Login to oriel and see if it says shortlisted, shortlisted reserve or rejected.

It says I'm shortlist reserve so is it a case of they'll contact me if enough people drop out?

Yup. If one way or another there isn't enough people to fill up the national spaces they might call you at short notice for an interview. Provided you did rank your locations?

Hi all. Finished my interview yesterday for vascular science. Honestly my whole interview took 30 minutes max. Unsure if I didn't answer questions well consider how quick it wa but tbh I felt comfortable throughout the interview so we'll see if I said enough.. From my interview perspective I don't think it was excessively complicated standard NHS questions that you would find online. Not as many technical questions as I expected tbh. Two of them threw me off but think I handled them as best as I could tbh. Interviewers were very lovely! Spent like 10 minutes just discussing research within vascular science at the end ( after the interview was over) . Overall I felt went good. No amount of preparation would have prepared me for the two questions that threw me off so I don't feel too awful about them. I hope this helps. Good luck every one! What a journey it's been to get here honestly. Not sure how much info I can give out regarding questions so sorry for the vagueness.
Also emailed hcs and they said they will email us at the end of June to let us know when offers will be released.

Unfortunately you wont know if you've ranked highly enough to be offered a place until everyone within your specialism has interviewed and had their score reviewed. This is why you wont find out promptly after the interview like you would with a 'regular' job interview.

But they need to release outcome to know which applicant is dropping to start interviewing reserve list. Am I right?
