Hi,

What are you studying at A-Level? how are you finding each subject? These questions may help you figure out what you actully enjoy doing, but also may naturally point to a certain degree. Don't worry about knowing your exact career path now as there is still time and your plans can very easily change. I would suggest maybe looking at degreesg that may give you transferable skills that you can apply to a range of careers. This will give you more flexiblility when considering your carrer path. Going to uni may also be a good idea as there is likely to be far more careers support at university comared to secondary/sixth form.

I hope this helps you slightly

Good careers site with hundreds of job / career descriptions - Job profiles | Prospects.ac.uk
Apprenticeship search - Find an apprenticeship - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Nowhere does it say that you can only go to Uni direct from school. If it takes you several years to work out what you want to do in life, and if you even want to go to Uni at all, thats fine. Plan a gap year - get a job (any job), do some travel and think about what you might want to do next - Gap Year & Adventure Travel Experts for 18-30's | Gap 360

Queen I felt this way too so I listed out anything I've ever been interested in academically then spent so long researching around it until I found out what degree I wanted to study (which is actually a bit niche but close to the a-levels I was studying). Now I'm taking a gap year to reapply for that degree and I wouldn't have figured out what I liked without reading and researching outside of what I know/ my current bounds!

Thanks but I’ve done soooo much research so much and it’s making my head hurt even more I still have no idea.

I took a gap yr last yr, best advice is to get as much work exp as possible. I did accounting, vetmed, online stuff, volunteering, part time jobs. All that helped massively to make a decision. If you're lacking qualifications, resit. Opens up doors.

How did you find so much work experience? A lot of the stuff I see is only open to Y12/13 or university students.

Accounting one was for yr 13. But you can still find online ones at least on pages like young professionals/springpod or ask a small firm. If it's anything like dentistry/med/pharmacy js call up n ask. Try and find any old job. A lot of times you meet new ppl n find opportunities that way as well.
