Second degree query

Could someone please confirm if a BSc in health and Social care qualifies for funding as a second degree.. Appreciate any help as I'm not sure I can afford to go ahead and cover all costs of course

Hi there,

Social Work can be considered an exception course if you already hold a degree.

You'd be eligible for Maintenance Loan, DSA and Grants for Dependents only. There's no Tuition Fee available.

Thanks,
Ross

Okay, this particular course isn't showing as an exception, unfortunately: so, if you already have a degree you won't be entitled to any funding for this course.

In this case it may be worth speaking to the university to see if they can offer you an exception course that would be entitled to funding from us.

Thanks, Graeme

Sorry I just checked it's part time but does that mean it's still not eligible for funding
Hi Shams#81,

This course has not been listed on the database by the college so I cannot confirm if it is an exception.
