dentistry or medicine with low GCSE

I have GCSEs grade 765555544
initially I wanted to do dentistry but didn’t get the grades to do the alevek route but I’m thinking of retaking bio chem this year and doing aleveks next year.is it worth the risk or should I look into a different career ?!and If my results come higher should I apply considering the rest of my GCSEs I would apply for a foundation year
If you didn't get the grade needed to do A level I seriously doubt you'd do good. I'm only 2 months into my A level (I got a 7 on trilogy science) and I'm slightly struggling because there's so much content. You should probably rethink your career, go for something easier. It also depends on your subjects and what you got highest on. Retakes are in November, if you think you can reach a high grade by then continue on your route

That’s not entirely true I got two marks into the boundary for a 6 biology at gcse and I hated it at gcse and for some reason chose it at a level and now im working at A/B level. At the start of year 12 I was getting Ds and Es. Improvement is possible !!

Well, yeah. It was at the start of A level when you're learning everything for the first time. It's expected and normal to get bad grades at the start

Many have dropped from A*/A predicted to B's and C's. Anything is possible. :pizza:
