volunteer work

Hi, i’m currently studying Alevels and want to do psychology at university and want to get as much experience to put on my uni application as possible. Where can i volunteer at, that links to psychology that will look good to universities?

Great that you want to do some volunteering, I recommend places like care homes, nursery's, shadow healthcare assistants, primary school's/secondary schools, helpline assistant for different charities.

Heyo! I'm glad you want to start this career is actually very rewarding! I started volunteering during my first year at uni but doing it earlier definitely puts you in advantage. There is so many charitable mental health companies online that are taking volunteers in. Examples are Mind, Alzheimer Society, Shout, etc.. additionally, you can find with your local council volunteering experiences with adult disabled people! And the NHS is always available to take on new staff but it is highly competitive
