Safe Uni Choices for LAW

Hi, I am looking to study Law in 2025. I am elligble for a contextual offer for any university, and am currently looking for a good law school as a back up with a grade requirement of around BBB incase everything goes wrong, that still would set me up to a good law firm. Does anyone know any places? I have been looking for months.

I am looking to apply for: Bristol, LSE, Cambridge, Manchester

Thank you!
I am eligible for a contextual offer for any University
You need to check this very carefully foreach Uni as all Unis use different criteria, and data-sets, to determine this.

Lower grade choices for Law - Sussex, Plymouth, UEA, Liverpool.

Hello! 🙂 @anqero
It's great you're thinking of applying for law and are taking a strategic approach to this!
Have you considered UEA?
UEA's entry requirements are AAB and for contextual offers it is BBB. You can have a look at the course profile here.
UEA has a very well respected Law school that has been ranked 55th globally! As part of studying Law at UEA, you can participate in the UEA Law Clinic which will you give you work experience you would need for future careers.
Is there a specific part of law you are interested in?
I'd highly recommend visiting an open day to get a feel for the campus and talk to current staff and students on the Law course. Upcoming Open days are on the 26th of October and 23rd of November, you can book your place here.
Alternatively, you can check out the campus via UEA's virtual open day
I hope this helps! If you have any questions feel free to ask! 🙂
Good luck with your application!

Hey @anqero!⭐️

It's great to hear that you're interested in studying Law! If you're feeling unsure about meeting the admission requirements, I’ve got good news—the University of Essex offers an amazing LLB Law program, and with minimum requirements of BBC, there’s a good chance you could be admitted! 🌟

The LLB Law degree at Essex provides you with a strong foundation in all key areas of law, including criminal law, contract law, human rights, and constitutional law. One of the best parts? You can tailor the course to your own interests with a range of optional modules, whether that’s international law, environmental law, or business law! 📚⚖️

In terms of employability, this degree opens up so many doors. You’ll gain practical legal skills through mooting, pro bono work, and opportunities at our Essex Law Clinic, where you can work on real cases and make a real impact. These hands-on experiences will help you stand out to future employers in a wide range of fields, whether you're aiming for a career as a solicitor, barrister, or something else in the legal world. 🚀💼

At Essex Law School, we're passionate about law with a focus on social justice and human rights. We're Top 50 for Law in THE World University Rankings by Subject 2024 and 3rd in UK for research power in Law (Times Higher Education research power measure, REF2021).
