Related to teaching

Hi,
I am an international student and I have done my undergraduate overseas and I came here for Masters in UofG. I am mainly from Pharmaceutical background but I don’t fancy to work in this field and rather want to pursue my career into teaching. I don’t have teaching experience at the moment and I was thinking of studying PGCE course next year. I looked at Uni of Chester and Uni of Cumbria. Can anyone tell me if these are good university to enroll into or any other uni? My two options are to go for either PGCE with QTS in biological sciences or just in general.

Hi @Namrata sood

It's great to hear that you're interested in a career in teaching!

You can view our PGCE courses here - https://www.chester.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/teaching/. We also have some PGCE Open Evenings coming up which may be of interest to you. It would be a great way to visit us to learn more about our PGCE courses. The next event is on 6th November, but there are other dates in the future - https://www.chester.ac.uk/about/events/.

In the meantime, if you have any questions about studying at Chester just let us know!

Best wishes,
Becky
