Biology, NatSci or Biochemistry at Oxbridge

I’m currently doing Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Classical Civilisation at A level and am hoping to go on to do Biology Biochemistry or a NatSci tripos focusing on biology at uni, depending on where I go. I’m a good student with 5 9s 4 8s and a 7 at GCSE and hoping for A* and As at A level, and I’m active with extra and super curricular (EPQ, attending lectures, debate, sport etc). Am I likely to get into these courses at Oxbridge (or places like Durham, York, Kings, Imperial) if I drop Physics and only do Biology Chemistry Classics or will that ruin my chances? I’m aware that they prefer maths a level too but I chose not to do that because I just didn’t like it 😂 however I did get a B in AS/Additional maths at GCSE

You won't get into natural sciences at Cambridge, because they have maths A level as a requirement. Regarding the others, just check their entry requirements and see if you meet them. You'll have a chance at getting into the places you mentioned, but make sure to put one or two less competitive unis as options too in case you get unlucky.

I was kind of confused by thd Cambridge website as I didn’t know of maths was required if I was gonna choose more biology-y sections for my tripos so thanks 👍

Yeah on the website it says that you need maths to apply. You can see it here: https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/courses/natural-sciences-ba-hons-msci under entry requirements > subject requirements

Yes thanks, my question was about physics rather than maths though, as I’ve already accounted for the maths Cambridge thing and am hoping to apply to Oxford instead
