Gap year diaries 🎀

I am currently on a gap year and have been struggling with motivation.
So far, (11/10) I:
- applied to several jobs without hearing back from them
- experienced a lot of loneliness and demotivation
- had a fight with my parents about the fact I wasn't doing anything
- regularly experience feelings of being worthless

I created this blog to hold myself accountable for my gap year goals and kind of inspire you guys? Idk. I'll try do a little debrief everyday/week.

My goals:
- learn Italian (A2- low B1) ( I already speak French which is similar and not finding Italian too hard so far, I just need motivation)
- learn the Quran
- study Arabic grammar
- read religious books
- get into content creation
- make exercising a habit before uni x
- get spiritually better (meditation etc)
- get work somewhere eventually (not a priority but it would be nice haha)

11/10:

didn't sleep this night at all in an attempt to correct my sleep schedule,

spent 30 min reading a hadith methodlogy book,

30 min finishing off an arabic grammar lesson.

I probably also did 30 min of Italian.

The willpower doing these tasks took is incredible.

I also read some quran on an app (Quranly) but honestly didn't find it as people make it out to be, I constantly felt limited by the one-verse at a time format that slowed down my reading.

I also filmed some content at night (around 20-ish tiktoks)
Then just spent time on social media.

12/10: woke up sick after barely sleeping (slept at around 4am) ended up sleeping through the day till 6pm. Then just SM.

13/10: Woke up at 2.30 after having no willpower to get up at 10 (like most days) even though I heard my alarm. I spent 30 min reading the hadith methodology book. Later I read the book Attached. That's everything I did today.
