So I am doing my bachelor's degree in edinburgh right now, so I went straight into University after finnishing S5. To transfer does that mean I need to meet the S6 requirements or just the current uni requirements that I am doing right now?

You'd need to check with the university to which you're hoping to transfer. However, generally speaking, your target university will require that you meet their entry requirements (even if you've studied a year of university already).
The "better" universities in England specify their entry requirements in terms of specific qualifications. For those who've been through the Scottish education system, they're going to expect Advanced Highers.
However, there are also universities in England which will specify their entry requirements in terms on UCAS points - which apply to Highers (33 points for an A down to 15 points for a D).
So if you target universities which specify their entry requirements in terms of UCAS points, then your Highers might be enough. Intimately, it's down to your target university to decide - so you need to ask them.
