Is it worthwhile taking TMUA just for LSE?

Hi,
I'm applying next month and one of my options is LSE economics.

I currently have 3 A*s predicted in Maths FM and Economics so I have the grades and currently have a really good personal statement.

My other choices are:
MORSE at Warwick.
Stats Economics Finance at UCL
Economics at Durnham
Finance at City, University of London.

LSE is the only university where TMUA is required. Do you think it's worth it to take the revise for and take the TMUA just for LSE or should I replace it as I am most likely going to take the UCL offer is I get it?

Doesn't this answer entirely depend on how keen you are to attend LSE? If you're keen, then you have no choice - it's required.

Historically, there's about a 1 in 2 chance of an offer from UCL for Statistics, Economics and Finance (across all applicants, regardless of predicted grades), whilst there's only about a 1 in 5 chance of an offer from LSE for Economics. The most common grade profile of accepted students is lower at UCL (at A*AA) than at LSE (A*A*A*).

That being the case, if you'd take a UCL offer over an LSE offer anyway, then if were me I'd skip the TMUA and apply elsewhere. However, people sometimes change their minds and if you don't take the TMUA, and don't apply to LSE, you might regret it in six months' time.
