How to prove to unis that I was ill before and during my LNAT?

I had flu-like symptoms and brain fog that got increasingly worse a couple of days before sitting my LNAT but I couldn't reschedule. It clearly impacted my performance, especially because I could barely revise or get any sleep beforehand.

I still have the same illness but I don't think GPs offer a service that includes sick notes. Has anyone been in the same situation or knows what to do?

Unis will typically ask for proof, for example gp letters or hospital notes, without these it will be very difficult to prove your situation to universities since they would only be able to go based on word of mouth. Your best bet is to contact the universities your applying for, explain your situation and ask them if there’s anything else you can do to prove you were sick before and during your lant.

To add on to the other comment, many university will not give special consideration to illnesses because they did state that by taking the LNAT u are representing to them that u're fit to do so. If not u should have rescheduled (I disagreed with this because for me personally I was hospitalized and the LNAT deadline was coming up,but the unis practically said tough luck try again next year If u don't do well this year.)

No matter what, it doesn't hurt to try (also I applied to top unis so they may be less flexible, hopefully your choices are more flexible and choose to exercise their discretion favorably)
As above, I’m not aware of any unis taking into account mit circs for external entrance exams. No harm in notifying them though.

Yeah it's annoying when something like an illness comes up and you can't reschedule.

I'll let my unis know just in case, even if it's unlikely to make a difference.
