when am i supposed to send the architecture portfolio

i applied early entrance for ual, cardiff, ucl, nottingham and cambridge for architecture yesterday and i have only heard back from ucl regarding the portfolio. i am worried due to the fact that i haven't really put my portfolio together yet and the deadlines are so close. when will i hear from the other unis? or is it after the 31st jan (the normal entry deadline)

No it won't be after the January deadline. Unis will likely request your portfolio once they start processing your application. On average, you get three to four weeks to submit it once you receive the request.

I applied early as well! From my personal experience, my choice of universities (which included Cardiff as well) arrived after the January deadline, although some were a bit earlier. Each uni's admissions team may work slightly differently in how they process applications, so its worth giving an ask. You can contact Cardiff's admissions team through this page here.

hiya! i applied on the 9th october i think? i’ve heard back from ucl and nottingham for my portfolio but not cambridge and it’s worrying me a bit too

It's only a week since you submitted and Cambridge will have received a lot of applications in the last week that need to be processed, so don't worry. :smile:
