What are concerts like?

I live in NL and I have the option of going to the Snow strippers concert (totally would love to go to bladee too but the tickers r sold out :frown: )... problem is I've never been to a concert.
I would totally bring my parents but like..... snow.... strippers... my mom is very conservative and my dad is a muslim, plus I doubt they'd enjoy the music at all.
None of my friends listen to that type of music and I feel bad bringing them only for them to not enjoy it
I'm totally terrified of going alone

What do I do???
Ask you parents. They are likely to far prefer to go with you than for you to go alone! Don’t put yourself in an unnecessarily vulnerable position so please ensure you go with someone you trust and that your parents know where you are/who you are with. If it doesn’t work out for this opportunity there will be another

I recommend going with someone, even if you do have to take your parents it's better to be with someone than put yourself in a potentially vulnerable position by going alone, especially since its your first concert. But then again it does depend on your age and if you feel like you'd feel safe on your own etc.
I love going to concerts but I've never gone alone, maybe ask a friend if they will go with you I know you said none of your friends listen to the band but I have personally gone to concerts to see bands that I don't know because by friend doesn't want to go alone. You can't beat live music so I'm sure a friend would go with you if you ask?

Try and get a friend who can go with you even if they aren't a fan. I went to Reading last year and didn't really listen to most of the artists but still really enjoyed it. You could maybe introduce a friend to the music first so that they're already familiar with it.
