Manchester Graduate Medicine?

Just a question to anybody that might know; does The university of Manchester offer a graduate entry course into medicine? I couldnt find a trace on their website and wondered if it was just me.

Okay, another question you can probably figure out where this is leading, does a university have a preference for its own students for graduate medicine?

Im not talking reserved places, if they have two applicants on equal par and one of them goes to their university, which will they choose?

Doesnt normally count for much if anything. Can even count against you.

Are you a student at manchester? A list of all the graduate courses can be found in the top link of my signature. There might be one in the wiki here to.
Have any graduates applied to the undergrad med course at Manchester for 2015 entry?

I got an invite this tuesday. Email was rather strange as i was given a selection of 4 dates for which i had to email back letting them know which ones i couldnt make and not actually choose a date!

Have you applied for any GEM programmes?

I did apply for gem courses but, just as I anticipated, I found myself rejected by both (bad gamsat). Where else have you applied?

I got the invite on Tuesday as well. Interview late January.

I've managed to get interviews at Leicester and Warwick (both 4 years) and now Manchester. Manchester is an amazing University but the finance situation for the 5 year course is pretty tough!

So did you just get a set date in the email? I was just given a selection of dates from feb to march an told to reply letting them know which ones i cant make.

Yes they just gave me one date. The finance is going to be really tough. I haven't really thought extensively about how I'll do it. I hope there's some (even if a little) that we can get.
