OCR A A-Level Chemistry resources

Hi, i'm currently taking A-Level Chem as a private candidate, I'll be completing my exams in the summer 2025 cycle, and have decided to do the OCR A exam board.
Does anyone know any good resources for OCR A, any textbooks, youtubers, websites i could use?
For both year 1 and year 2 content please
Is UpLearn any good?

Help please!!!

hi, im a current y13 taking ocr a chem.
some resources i use are phsyics & maths tutor for notes and study mind for practice questions
i also have the cpg as & alevel revision guide for it which i find sooo so useful.
i dont have this, but my tecaher reccomended this textbook: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Calculations-Level-Chemistry-Jim-Clark/dp/0582411270/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1R052PZQ3F80P&keywords=jim+clark+calculations+in+chemistry&qid=1696089653&sprefix=jim+clark+%252Caps%252C114&sr=8-1&_encoding=UTF8&tag=weareallgoing-21&linkCode=ur2&linkId=424094166820f3ca0599d34b0609ada7&camp=1634&creative=6738 (wow that was a long link)
^^ it basically helps you through all the equations and stuff (so module 3&5). its not exam board specific so just be weary, if it includes something youve never seen before or heard of, probs dont do it.
Hi im also a current yr13 taking ocr a chemistry. About Uplearn, my college bought it for every student in the college and as I've been using it for both ocr alevel chemistry and aqa psychology it is very useful as it breaks down many concepts into simpler detail whith each video and quizzes theres even a progress tracker that tracks how many hours you spend in each subject. It also offers exam questions for each topic and exam papers with the mark scheme and i find it very useful. Furthermore, my chemistry teacher also recommended watching youtubers such as machemguy and freesciencelessons. In addition, i think you should print out the specification for chemistry on the ocr website because it shows what topics are in each module and has alot of useful information. Lastly, try revision strategies such as blurting and writing revision notes using the cornell method and dont forget to take breaks in between revision and learning so you dont give your brain an information overload and also create a timetable to stay organised and dedicate yourself to stick to the timetable. Hopefully this helps with your exams and preparations. Good luck with everything!!
