Scared of coerced, forced marriage

I asked the police officer at a train station what could happen if my relatives come and without my permission, consent or knowing

Arranges something

Of course, it has to be somewhat coerced, pressured

The police said "they maybe trying to help me"

What if I don't need help and don't want to be involved in an arranged marriage? And don't need to?

The police will have to listen?

Surely my word has to be final to the police?

Even if ur family arranges something, you are the person saying YES or NO to the marriage or to meeting the person. There is a difference between arranged and forced. Is this an arranged or a forced marriage? They can't force you to say YES to someone. Even if they coerce you to go to a ceremony, you can still say NO. What is the bigger context of this? How old are you?

The police would have to stand by my decision and follow the law? Once I say no, it has to stand

There is a relative (who I reported for abuse) who committed hate speech, the police would also have to do their protocol checks and ask me to hand it

if you have the courage to go against ur relatives and declare against them to the police, the police should have to take ur complaint surely?

Thank you.

What if I reported the relative twice before and that person goes "what have I done".

What if they report my random Instagram stories which isn't a crime?

How many times have you been told that the police won't bother about trivial matters that aren't crimes?

Why are you bothering a random police officer about something that hasn't happened and which may never happen? Why do you believe your relatives are trying to get you married off?

It's a possibility.

The relatives may come to my house, I'll call the police about their agenda, they will manipulate the police saying "we are just trying to help".

I will just say "I don't need help and definitely don't want anything arranged".
