After an access course!!

After doing an Access course diploma, do I have to attend a University straight after or can I wait it out for a year?

To get the best advice, I would contact your Access to HE Diploma provider and ask them the question so that you are fully informed 🙂

After you complete your nursing access course then you will be given the opportunity to attend majority of universities in the UK to go and study as a student nurse and at the end of the 3 years you will be qualified.

I would probably first go and do my nursing degree after completing the access diploma course and then take a year out to do whatever you want before you apply for a job as a nurse. ( I'm presuming you are going on to study nursing).

Unfortunately I didn't take any time out after completing a 4 year degree course as I then went back to university in the September for another 3 years to study to become a adult nurse. ( Of course that was my own choice) .

As the person said in reply 1 - contact your access to he diploma provider to ask them the necessary questions that you want to know about.
