Can you apply to foundation years with high grades?

Hello, I have been told to enter foundation years from my teachers as I want to do medicine. There are many universities that require an A in bio but at this moment I have A*AAB a B in chemistry. My teacher told me to apply for foundation year, but I heard that you wont get accepted to foundation if you have high predicted grades.; and in my situation An A* and A would be very prominent.

Would I be able to apply for foundation?

Hi there!

There is no “upper limit” to study a foundation year but I would also suggest potentially resitting your chemistry as all of your grades are amazing!
I’d maybe use the year to resit chemistry and you can always apply for both a foundation year and an MBBS when it comes to choosing on UCAS!
