Can I switch combine to triple science DURING my year 10?

Everyone keep saying that you could switch combine to triple at the end of year 10 if you get good mocks but I really really REALLY need to get triple science and im very desperate as you cna see. is there any way i can get triple and quickly or smthing idk.( Also if you saw a comment from Rubricorn saying the same thing, thats me got confuse when signing up lol) PLZ ANSWERRR

fully depends on ur school and when they finalise your subjects and tiers for the papers, usually i think mid y11. some teachers might be hesitant so id ask them if u demonstrate u can do it then they let u take triple. why need it tho? im pretty sure it doesnt affect ur chances of medicine or anything, its just an extra gcse for maybe half a gcse worth of content

honestly because of my family, if i dont get it i could possible ruin my familys reputation. I was always, or so my mom say , a failure so if i do not get triple science, itll prove her more that i am one and also majority og my family members had triple so its a bit embarassing to be the only one to have combined :///
