What unis should I apply to for chemistry?

I want to stay in London

ucas grades of AAA* in chemistry maths and geography (tho i would say i slightly underperformed because of my circumstances, which my school didn’t make a big deal of because they’re strict with ucas it is a popular selective school)

gcses of 9988887776 (9-8 in combined science, 8 in maths and eng language, 6 in further maths)
My year group performed average (average attainment 8 score of 47.0 out of 90)
around 50% of people had fsm (including me) and spoke english as a second language
I’m contextual

i’m thinking about
imperial —> AAA normal offer (idk abt contextual) but they say they prefer a third science
ucl —> AAA normal offer, ABB contextual offer (but recommend a third science subject. But they said they do consider applicants with only two in the open day)
kcl —> AAB normal, ABC contextual
qmul —> ABB normal, BBB contextual (but they often accept people with less than this)

personal statement: talked about stuff I did at UNIQ (oxford summer programme for chem), C3L6, how i mentored students in triple science

my question is, would it be good for me to apply to all these places? If I don’t get into a good uni, i’d rather take a gap year and reapply tbh (but my parents wouldn’t be happy)
i should have a shot at qmul and maybe kcl but ucl and imperial are aspirational. Would I have a chance at an interview at minimum with imperial, without A*A*A* and a third science subject?

what would be a good 5th option? i’m looking for preferably a decent uni for chem (doesn’t have to be rg) with BBB or BBC contextual offer. can be outside of london but preferably in

Sussex - asks ABB but usually in Clearing so would probably accept BBB in August - Chemistry, undergraduate courses : University of Sussex - 50 mins by train from Victoria.
Reading - BBB - Undergraduate courses in the Department of Chemistry (reading.ac.uk) - now on the LIzzie tube line.

Thank you very much. Unfortunately these places are over 2 hours travel on public transport from where i live, but i’ll definitely still consider

Hi, firstly are u 100% u wanna do chem and not a course related more to geography side?

2nd ur choices are fine u don’t need 3a* predicted for imperial lol and for all top unis only maths and chem is required additional science or fm is useful/recommended but u don’t need it so definitely apply to those unis if chemistry is what u wanna do

Not sure about any other London unis u would wanna apply to but I think it’s worth noting that kcl chem is not an accredited degree not sure how important this is in the future or in ur case. I think u shouldn’t worry about that though, u have a good chance at ucl and imperial looking at ur grades but if u do wanna swap it out maybe look at warwick but again that is up to u

Thank you very much!! I’m looking at putting warwick as my 5th, and I didn’t know that KCL wasn’t accredited (and tbh i didn’t like them for chem anyways, but i only applied bc im trying to stay in london).
Abt geo, I enjoy it but I really don’t want to do anymore further studies very related to it 😅
I also generally perform better in chem than geo (averaging a high A in chem across all tests and I got a low A (highest i’ve gotten) in the last mock for geo), i just messed up a bit in the last mock due to circumstances and got a B in chem 🙃
