Throughout the entire text, the author uses clear.
and concise language, they are straight forward and... informative, this ensures that they the reader can..... comprehend what is being said. Additionally, the authar maintains formal language, evading any form of casual...speaking, this proves that it's successful an example of formal tone is God Save the King was a patriotic song first publicly performed in London, there... are...no...contractions, and ambitious vocabulary is used........ Furthermore, it has a defined purpose: the sub-heading...... help.... show that e.g STAMPS is about stamps in the uk. Regarding the layout,.headings and sub-heading help... organise different content into sections, and, for example, if the reader wanted to look for information about the population... of England, they could just look where it says "POPULATION? Also, the images and diagrams help.... with the layout, it helps the reader understand what the flag of England looks like, or what our currency. Examples of bullet points / lists are found in the first paragraph under UK or Britain. Furthermore, the structure makes the text successful. It has a title, so it gives the reader a taster about what the text is about, it is clear and explanatory.

main body of the text is organised into different paragraphs with different sub-headings.

You make reference to techniques such as headings, sub-headings which are quite common for a newspaper. Can you analyse the main content of the article? Why are the techniques that you have spotted particularly useful? For example, you said the concise language creates an informative tone, how so? Can you give quotes rather than using vague terminology like 'concise language', 'informative language', and 'ambitious vocabulary'? It would be best to embed them into your paragraph.
