Glasses wearers - Do you wear glasses in your dreams?

In a random discussion about it at work and later at home I realized that I am among the rare group of people who wears glasses in their dreams (sometimes). And even sometimes in the dream I adjust them or take them off.
I'm not counting the dreams that are focused on glasses, just random dreams. I mean, I work in the optical field and I have a childhood trauma involving glasses, so sometimes I have dreams about it, those I don't count here.

So, glasses wearers, do you wear glasses in your dreams?

I don't remember having bad eyesight in a dream (that is not focused on eyesight). Like I don't remember a dream about walking outdoors with a friend (or loved one) and needing glasses to see the view or other people or anything... it is rather an accessory in my dreams or just something that is automatic like in real life.
It's close to half of my dreams I have them on, and the other half I don't.
I don't actually! surprisingly.
Mind you, one of my fears is my glasses breaking and being without them :hide:

I always have a spare pair in my car and at home (and at my parents' home) and carry a pair of contact lenses just in case they break or I loose them when I'm out somewhere without the car. My vision is not that bad, I can function during the day without glasses for most of the tasks, glasses just more convenient ( would not have to be close to stuff and squint ).

Most of the people I spoke to about it, even those who are wearing glasses all the day are either not aware of this thing in their dreams or not wearing them in their dreams. Even those who claim to look better with them on.

No, I can't say I've ever noticed myself wearing glasses in my dreams, even though I wear them all the time in waking life. I find this unusual because when I first got glasses in my teens I really didn't like having to wear them & found it uncomfortable having frames against my face & ears all day. Now I'm more positive about wearing glasses & see them as part of my style- I've got a couple of different pairs to choose from so I can change my look as I want. I'm conscious of which pair goes best with a particular aesthetic & I notice the difference in comfort between plastic & metal frames. I'd have thought some of these things might have found their way into my subconscious somehow.

I have glasses since the age of 13, only recently (since the pandemic) started wearing them most of the day. I don't know when did I started noticing them in my dreams, but I know that usually I'm very aware of myself in my dreams... like I do feel things and even feel taste. Most people don't. I'm aware of things I have or wear... like I feel the weight of a coat if I wear one and I feel the phone in my pocket like irl.
Now it makes me feel even more strange... like I personally don't know people who feel in their dreams... It is a bit different than in real life, but it has the same concept. Like spicy food won't hurt but it will still be hotter but not burn... sweets won't make you thirsty... It is strange when I recall such things now. It all makes sense but most people are not that way...

I also have several pairs of glasses (most are not 100% accurate to my prescription, older pairs or pairs I ordered with single vision and not progressives). I also like to fit them for outfits and styles. My mom is an artist so she has like 7 different pairs she choose from and I stated doing the same. Took me years to accept that I need glasses and that it's ok and I should just have fun with them... Still prefer not needing them...
