preparing a solution of 1.0 moldm-3 sucrose solution

could anyone please help me by telling me how to make a 1.0 moldm-3 solution of sucrose for an experiment i need to do. i will be using standard household caster or granulated sugar but i dont no the Mr of sugar or the euation of how to work it out from that.
do i just turn the Mr into grammes and then add a litre of water? or do i use m=n/mr and then c=n/v? if anyone could help id be really grateful
thanks

Sucrose: C12H22O11
So MM = 12 * 12 + 22 + 16 * 11
= 342 g / mol
If you wanted to make a litre you'd therefore need 342g, assuming the household stuff you get is pure sucrose.

342 g/dm3
or to make amounts smaller:

85.5g per 250cm3
