Want to transfer universities, but unsure if my A- Level grades are good enough

Hello.
I have just started my first year of university - at Birmingham City University - studying Business Management. While I have no problems with the course itself or the university , I am thinking of transferring due to some personal issues at home . I am commuting to the university, as I live about 30-40 minutes away here in the West Midlands, but I would prefer to move out of the county.

My biggest issue with transferring is my A-Level grades - I achieved a C in History, a D in English Language and a Merit in Business BTEC. This adds to around 88 UCAS points (if I recall correctly) , in which most university courses would not accept , and a few universities offering foundation courses - which I don't want to undertake- as I want to transfer into the second year (although I don't mind redoing the first year as well)
I know with this information my options are limited, but is there any universities that will accept me? Is there any way to find these universities? I am also planning to contact the student services about this.
Thanks.

Transfers are always very case-by-case, especially if you have weaker level 3 grades and are relying solely on your year 1 results. For that reason it's really not possible for someone else to tell you where to start your search.

The Transfer FAQ details the general process. From there it's best to limit your search by area or other unis that offer that specific course.
