Hi I am having difficulty with my student finance maintenance loan I was suppose to be in year 2 but I am repeating year 1 , when I wanted to fill in my student finance application I filled year 2 because I didn’t know I would be ask to repeat year 1 so I had to resubmit a new application after the previous one have been approved so I just got an approval from student finance England on the 2nd of October but they still haven’t paid me because they keep saying my university haven’t confirm my registration but my university told me they have confirm it I called student finance they told me they only confirm my attendance and they will only be releasing the tuition fee but not the maintenance loan that they need to confirm registration for the maintenance loan to be release this doesn’t make any sense to me as I am very confused now it’s been over 3 weeks have been chasing this up between my school and students finance England in which non of them have a solution . Please what do you think I can do

Hi there. You may need to get your university to contact their internal helpline with Student Finance England if they keep saying they have sent the registration, but we haven't received it. The helpline will be able to check if there are any issues from their end when sending the registration. Thanks, Leah.
