I've looked at all of the advice on the individual college web pages but I'd love to hear from some current students - especially any mature Masters students.
I am applying for MScs in Migration Studies and African studies (we'll see if I get an offer from either!) for 2025-26 entry and the following things are important to me:
- College accommodation (ideally ensuite but it's not a hill I have to die on)
- A library that's open reasonable hours (24/7 would be great)
- Reasonably close to my department (International Development or Global and Area Studies)
- Diverse range of students in terms of age, background, etc (I don't need to be in a postgraduate-only college but I don't want to be one of the only people my age there)
- I am very sociable and want to meet as many new people as I can. That could just be down to me as a person but if you think a college lends itself to this more than another, I'd love to hear it.
Any suggestions gratefully received, thank you!
