Should I do BMO1 as a Year 13 Student

I took the SMC for fun because I didn't want to go to class that morning and qualified for BMO1 math olympiad. Is it worth doing? I got a merit last year but I've already sent off my UCAS application and am looking to study Engineering at university so this type of stuff isn't too fun for me. Should I just do it anyways or does it just not matter at this point?

Honestly - Unis tend to ignore these sorts of 'competitions' because everyone does them so they dont say anything special about you. So, really, don't bother. Focus on working on your A levels instead - those grades will matter.

You can still do it just for fun, I would recommend it. It may also be something to mention if you end up having an interview. You don't need to put much effort into preparation.
Did you end up sitting it?
